The list of affected streets includes Channel Parkway, Susan Drive, Tiger Drive and Lyon Street, as well as residential streets in a couple of neighborhoods in the northern part of Marshall. All vehicles must be removed from the streets before 6 a.m. Monday, the city said.
Streets that will be under construction include Channel Parkway, Susan Drive between Clarice Avenue and U.S. Highway 59, parts of Tiger Drive between Minnesota Highway 23 and Highway 19, Commencement Boulevard, and Lyon Street between Fifth and Sixth Streets. Residential streets under construction include Soucy Drive, Ranch Avenue and Winifred Circle; Fremont Street between Ranch Avenue and Pleasant Avenue; Pleasant Avenue from Sixth Street to the end of the road; and West Redwood Street between Fifth Street and Seventh Street.
The chip sealing project is anticipated to be finished by the end of the day, weather permitting, the city announcement said.
