Marshall Police seek info on bridge vandalism

MARSHALL — The Marshall Police Department is asking for the public’s help in finding the person or people who spray-painted graffiti on pedestrian bridge crossing Minnesota Highway 23 this week. Vandalism to the bridge at the intersection of Saratoga Street and Highway 23 was reported at 1:39 p.m. Wednesday, Marshall Police said.

Photos posted on the MPD’s Facebook page showed spray paint on both the bridge walkway and on the underside of the bridge, near the footings.

In the Facebook post, the MPD said police and the Marshall Area Crime Fund were offering a reward of up to $200 for information leading to the arrest or conviction of the suspect or suspects responsible for the vandalism. People with information on the graffiti were encouraged to contact Marshall Police at 507-537-7000.
