Awning damage at Expressway

The pieces of the awning came crashing down around 9:30 a.m., Expressway employees said. Fortunately, there were no customers fueling up at the time. For safety, the gas station was closed until the awning could be repaired, employees said. Winds were high in southwest Minnesota on Thursday, with gusts of over 50 miles per hour reported in Marshall.
