Semi rollover accident on Highway 23

GRANITE FALLS — Strong winds Friday afternoon led to a rollover crash involving a semi truck on Minnesota Highway 23, the Minnesota State Patrol said.
The crash was reported around 2 p.m., near the intersection of Highway 23 and Yellow Medicine County Road 17. A semi traveling eastbound on Highway 23 was struck by a gust of wind and overturned, the State Patrol said. The semi rolled onto its passenger side and slid into the eastbound ditch.
There were no injuries in the crash, the State Patrol said. The Yellow Medicine County Sheriff’s Office posted a photo of the overturned semi on Facebook Friday afternoon. The Sheriff’s Office urged motorists to use care driving in the windy conditions.
