MONTEVIDEO — A Granite Falls woman was injured when her vehicle struck a tree Thursday night on U.S. Highway 212, the Minnesota State Patrol said.

Lacey Kay Knutson, 34, was taken to the Avera Granite Falls hospital with non life-threatening injuries, the State Patrol said.

The crash was reported at 11:11 p.m. Thursday in Stony Run Township, south of Montevideo. Knutson was driving a 2010 Ford Escape northbound on Highway 212 when the vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree, the State Patrol said. Road conditions were wet at the time of the crash.

The Granite Falls Police, Montevideo Police, and Granite Falls Ambulance all responded at the crash scene.
