MARSHALL — A pedestrian was struck by a car and injured near the intersection of Fifth Street and Lyon Street on Wednesday evening, Marshall Police said. The collision was reported around 5:30 p.m.

One person was transported to Avera Marshall Medical Center by ambulance, said Corporal Adam Baumann of the MPD. Further information on the pedestrian’s condition wasn’t available Wednesday evening.

Marshall Police, the Marshall Fire Department and North Memorial Ambulance responded at the scene.
