A visit to the veterans memorial
A group of residents and staff from Hill Street Place tour Memorial Park in downtown Marshall on Friday afternoon. Residents got to see both the veterans memorial and the 9/11 memorial in the park. Marc Klaith (at right) guided the tour, answering questions and talking about the history of the park.
The 9/11 memorial was completed in 2011, and the veterans memorial was completed in 2020.
