Celebrating Welcoming Week

An interactive chalk art zone was part of the “Welcoming Week” carnival held Saturday at the Marshall Area YMCA. Lilly Boelter shaded in a sketch of a dog she was adding to the sidewalk art.
The city of Marshall and the Marshall Area YMCA invited the community to get together in the spirit of belonging this weekend as part of the national “Welcoming Week” event. Activities at the carnival included family-friendly games and music, inflatables and rides in a Marshall Municipal Utilities bucket truck.
