Chip sealing project affects 20 streets and cul-de-sacs in Marshall
MARSHALL — Marshall residents will see “No Parking” signs going up on close to 20 streets and cul-de-sacs this week, as the city prepares for a street project. Asphalt Preservation Co. will be chip sealing streets in Marshall starting Wednesday, the city engineer’s office announced. There will be no parking allowed on affected streets until new asphalt is put in place.
Vehicles must be off the streets before 6 a.m. on Wednesday, the city engineer’s office said. The chip sealing work is anticipated to be finished within this week, weather permitting.
Streets with parking restrictions include South First Street, South Fourth Street, Madrid Street, both North and South 11th Street, Fairview Street, Viking Drive, Deschepper Street, East Thomas Avenue, David Drive, Viking Circle, Cullen Circle, McFarland Circle, Clifton Circle, Willow Avenue, Willow Lane, North Minnesota Street, Thunderbird Road and Holabird Circle.
