CLARKFIELD -- A person trimming trees in a bucket lift was seriously injured when he came into contact with a power line, the Yellow Medicine County Sheriff's Office said.
The Sheriff's Office received a call of an electrocution-related accident in the city of Clarkfield around 2:31 p.m. Monday. A male victim in a bucket lift had made contact with an electric line, the Sheriff's Office said. Emergency responders went to the scene to give aid once the power was turned off.
The victim was transported to Hennepin County Medical Center, the Sheriff's Office said. The Sheriff's Office did not identify the injured person, and they had no further information on how severe his injuries were.
Clarkfield Ambulance, Clarkfield Fire and Rescue, Granite Falls Ambulance, the Renville tactical rescue team, and North Memorial Air Care all responded at the accident scene.
