Closings and postponements

Prairie Home Hospice not allowing

visitors to Cottonwood facility

• Prairie Home Hospice & Community Care has announced that it will no longer be allowing visitors at Prairie Home Fieldcrest Assisted Living in Cottonwood. There are no current signs of the virus within the facility or community that we know of. This step is being taken as a precaution. We do not know how widespread the virus is or will become in our area. We are taking every possible measure to protect the health and well-being of our residents and those who continue to provide their care.

Prairie’s Edge Casino Resort

will temporarily close

• Prairie’s Edge Casino Resort closed its doors Wednesday evening and will remain closed through March 27, at which time the situation will be re-evaluated.

To try to stop the spread of COVID-19, stringent property wide cleaning methods have been put in place. Along with enhanced cleaning methods, areas throughout theCasino and Resort have already been closed. With all the precautions we have taken, temporarily closing our doors is the best way for us to help stop the spread of COVID-19.

• The Jesus Cares Bible study is postponed. We will follow the school closing guidelines as per the governor’s directives. When and if school resumes in the physical building we will also resume classes at Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church on our regular schedule. Please, feel free to contact Melanie Werner at 507-828-3798 or mel.werner21@gmail.com with any questions or concerns.
