HENDRICKS — Law enforcement seized more than 60 grams of methamphetamine from a Hendricks residence on Friday morning, the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office said. Two people at the residence were arrested, the Sheriff’s Office said.

Law enforcement agencies including the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, Lake Benton Police, the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension, the Buffalo Ridge Drug Task Force and the Minnesota State Patrol executed a search warrant on the 200 block of South Park Street in Hendricks, the Sheriff’s Office said. The search warrant was executed around 9 a.m. Friday.

The search led to law enforcement seizing over 60 grams of a substance that tested as methamphetamine, the Sheriff’s Office said. Law enforcement also found drug paraphernalia, items commonly used to distribute drugs and about $3,000 in cash. An unknown powdery substance was also seized, and will be tested to identify it, the Sheriff’s Office said.

Two people at the residence, Karen Kaye Gronewald, 55, and Todd Michael Finnegan, 57, were arrested for controlled substance sales and possession of drugs in a school zone. The Sheriff’s Office said additional charges could be filed as the investigation continues.
