Revere man dies after Friday crash
REVERE — A Revere man died Friday after a head-on crash with a semi truck, the Minnesota State Patrol said.
A crash involving a 1997 Dodge Ram driven by Landon Evans, 22, of Revere, and a 2007 International semi driven by Nathan Silbernagel, 31, of Morgan, was reported at 5:39 p.m. Friday on U.S. Highway 14 in Revere. At the time of the crash, the semi was headed westbound on Highway 14, while the Dodge was headed eastbound, the State Patrol said.
The Dodge crossed the center line and collided head-on with the semi, the State Patrol said. Evans was not wearing a seat belt, the State Patrol said.
Evans was transported to North Memorial Medical Center in Minneapolis, but his injuries were fatal, the State Patrol reported.
Lamberton Police, the Lamberton Fire Department and EMS, Walnut Grove Police, the Walnut Grove Fire Department and EMS, the Redwood County Sheriff’s Department and North Memorial Air Care all responded at the scene of the crash.
