Attempted robbery reported in Milroy

MILROY — The Redwood County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a report of an attempted robbery in Milroy over the weekend.

A news release from the Sheriff’s Office said law enforcement are looking for information on three suspects in the incident.

The Sheriff’s Office received the report of an attempted robbery, at a residence on the 200 block of Euclid Avenue, around 7 p.m. Saturday. The caller described three males, one carrying a pistol, trying to gain access to the residence.

The three males were described as being around six feet tall, between the ages of 18 and 22, and with dark complexions, the Sheriff’s Office said. One was wearing a dark colored hoodie with black pants, one was wearing a red hoodie and one was wearing a white hoodie. The males were also described as wearing masks partially covering their faces.

The Sheriff’s Office is urging people with any information on the incident to contact them at 507-637-4036.
