MARSHALL — Marshall Police are investigating the deaths of two people, whose bodies were found in the early hours of Wednesday morning and on Thursday morning, respectively. Both deaths were reported on the 100 block of East Main Street. However, foul play is not suspected, and the deaths are unconnected, Sgt. Jim Marshall of the Marshall Police Department said Thursday.

In one incident, reported at 12:05 a.m. Wednesday, a 61-year-old male was found with self-inflicted injuries, Marshall said. In a second incident, reported at 7:38 a.m. Thursday, a 36-year-old male was found outdoors with self-inflicted injuries, Marshall said. Both incidents were reported on the 100 block of East Main, but at different addresses.

Marshall said death investigations are ongoing in both incidents, and autopsies of the two males are being done.
