Mulso, Jolstad join Hoffman & Brobst

Hoffman & Brobst, Certified Public Accountants announced the appointment of Bill Mulso as chief operating officer of the firm. As chief operating officer, his primary responsibility will be working with the partners to oversee the various administrative and business aspects of the firm, including finance and accounting, human resources, technology, communications and marketing. He joins the firm after a 30-year career in higher education administration at Southwest Minnesota State University (SMSU) in Marshall. He holds a bachelor’s degree from SMSU and a master’s degree from Minnesota State University, Mankato. Mulso and his wife Stacie currently live in Marshall.

Hoffman & Brobst, Certified Public Accountants, announced the addition of Lori Jolstad, a staff accountant, to the professional staff of the firm. She is a graduate of Minnesota State University, Mankato and has previous experience in accounting.

The list recognizes financial advisers who have demonstrated high levels of ethical standards, professionalism, and success in the business.

The rankings are based on data provided by thousands of the nation’s most productive advisers. Skogrand was chosen based on assets under management, industry experience, compliance record and best practices in her practice and approach to working with clients.

Skogrand is part of Van der Hagen, Skogrand & Associates, a private wealth advisory practice of Ameriprise Financial Services, LLC. She graduated from Mankato State with a double major in business management and human resource management and a minor in economics. Skogrand has 26 years of experience with Ameriprise Financial.
