North Star Mutual announces promotions
North Star Mutual Insurance Company in Cottonwood recently announced promotions.
Steve Anderson has been promoted to assistant manager of the Auto Claims department.
He has worked for North Star since 1995 and most recently held the position of senior claims representative. Previous roles include claims representative and assistant claims representative.
Anthony Holwerda has been promoted to assistant manager of the Property/Casualty Claims department.
He has worked for North Star since 2011 and most recently held the position of senior claims representative. Previous roles include claims representative and assistant claims representative.
Zeb Prairie, CPCU, AIAF, ARC, API, AIS, has been promoted to senior vice president. He has worked for North Star since 2005 and most recently held the position of vice president of Investments. Prairie holds a bachelor’s degree in business management and Accounting from Southwest Minnesota State University.
He has served in a number of capacities at North Star during his career including: assistant claims representative and claims representative for the Auto Claims Department, and financial analyst and investment manager/assistant treasurer for the Finance Department. In his new role he will have oversight over the Finance Department and its functions
Julie Gregoire has been promoted to assistant manager of the Property/Casualty Claims department.
She has worked for North Star since 2011 and most recently held the position of senior claims representative. Previous roles include claims representative and assistant claims Representative.
Chad Johnson, CPA, CPCU, AIAF, AINS, has been promoted to senior vice president. He has worked for North Star since 2014 and most recently held the position of vice president of Accounting.
Johnson holds a Bachelor’s degree in applied economics and accounting with a management minor from the University of Minnesota. Previous positions during his career have included: Senior Accountant, assistant manager, and department manager. In his new role, Johnson will have oversight over the Accounting Department and its functions.
Two added to Andrew Suby State Farm team
Andrew Suby State Farm welcomes Heather Knox and Sam Burley to its team.
Knox has been in the Marshall area for about 9 years. When she is not working, she enjoys spending her time with her husband and two children and spending time at the lake.
Burley is currently attending Southwest Minnesota State University working on a finance degree and also recently got engaged. She is also a physical trainer.
