North Star announces promotions of three employees

Sheila Brockman, CPCU, ARM, API, AIS, has been promoted to department manager of the Personal Lines Underwriting department.

Brockman has worked for North Star since March of 1992 and previously held the position of assistant department manager of the Personal Lines Underwriting department.

Amy Herrick, AU, API, AIS, has been promoted to department manager of the Personal Lines Underwriting Department.

Herrick has worked for North Star since June of 1993 and previously held the position of assistant department manager of the Personal Lines Underwriting Department.

Scott Myhre has been promoted to department manager for the Corporate Services department.

Myhre has worked for North Star since June of 2013 and previously held the position of assistant department manager for the Corporate Services department.

Leverson joins Duininck

Duininck announces the addition of Eric Leverson, a native of Sherburn, to its team. He will serve as the southwest area manager for three of locations beginning later this month. Leverson has over 35 years of experience in heavy civil construction and supplies.

“I am thrilled to welcome Eric to our team,” said Chris Duininck, vice president of operations and contracting. “I have known him for many years and am excited about the vast amount of skill and knowledge Eric has to offer our group. His experienced leadership will allow Duininck to grow our southwest locations and better serve the communities where we live and work.”

In his extensive career, Leverson has served in a wide range of roles across the heavy civil construction industry, including laborer, estimator, dispatch, human relations, general manager, vice president of operations and president.

Allstate agent Robert Shouse joins Marshall business community

Allstate exclusive agent Robert Shouse has opened the Shouse Allstate Insurance Agency at 800 E Main St, Suite 320 in Marshall. Shouse will offer Allstate’s products and services to residents of Marshall and the surrounding area.

Shouse is excited about his newest affiliation with the Allstate Insurance Company.

“I was impressed with Allstate’s business model which gives customers 24 hour access to our products and services, the opportunity to serve my customers’ insurance needs with an excellent line of products, and the fine reputation of the company,” he said.

Shouse’s agency offers customers a full line of Allstate insurance products and services, including auto, homeowners, renters, business and commercial, boat, RV, life, retirement and Allstate Motor Club.

Allstate plans to add further to the Minnesota job market by actively expanding the presence of agencies in local communities.
