Women in Ag Network Spring Workshop in St. Cloud April 11
The University of Minnesota Extension Women in Ag Network’s spring workshop is scheduled for Thursday, April 11, at the St. Cloud Regional Extension Office, 3601 18th St. S. #113, St. Cloud.
This half-day workshop will feature two speakers from UMN Extension. Liz Stahl will share more about how to interpret research to help make effective farm level decisions, and Joleen Hadrich will share more about her innovative research looking at dairy farm profitability. We will also have ample time during the workshop to network with speakers and other attendees. The workshop will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and include lunch.

Workshop on zebra mussels is April 6
Are you concerned about the zebra mussel infestation in Lake Sarah or wondering how to prevent further spread of aquatic invasive species within the county?
The Murray County Environmental Services Office in collaboration with the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources will be putting on an Aquatic Invasive Species workshop at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 6, at the 4-H building on the Murray County Fairgrounds, 3048 Broadway Ave., Slayton.
Join them for an overview of the zebra mussel infestation in Lake Sarah and discussion on what to look for, where to look and how you can help prevent further spread of AIS into our lakes and rivers.
