A Summary of the Proceedings of the Lyon County Board

9:00 a.m. pursuant to notice the Lyon County Commissioners met with the following members present: Commissioners Graupmann, Anderson, Sanow, Crowley and Ritter. Also present: Administrator Stomberg and Attorney Maes.

MSP to approve the agenda with the addition of agreement between State of MN and Lyon County.

MSP to approve the consent agenda.

MSP to approve the 2018 agreement with the Marshall Area Chamber of Commerce to provide EDA services to Lyon County.

MSP to approve giving $15,000 to the Veteran Memorial Project in

Marshall in January 2018.

MSP to approve the 2017 deer hunting archery season from September 16-December 31 in Garvin Park to include the applicable fees.

MSP to instruct the Auditor/Treasurer to send the letter to the City of Marshall, the Mayor and each City Council member to their personal residences.

MSP to award SP 42-600-003 to Robert R. Schroeder Construction, Inc. with the low bid of $2,129,028.00.

MSP to approve the resolution between the MN DNR and Lyon County for the replacement of three bridges on County Road 83 within Camden State Park.

MSP to approve the low quote from Traffic Marking Service for $46,360.76 for CP 17:HS and allow Board Chair to sign contract.

MSP to approve the resolution for the Joint Powers Agreement with the State of MN and Lyon County.

MSP to approve the hire of Nathan St. Aubin as Correctional Officer with a starting rate of $17.12 and a start date of September 8, 2017.

MSP to approve the hire of Quinn Bullard as Correctional Officer with a starting rate of $17.12 and a start date of on or around September 20, 2017.

MSP to approve the hire of Matt Hoekstra as Deputy Sheriff with a starting rate of $28.00 and a start date of on or around September 25.

MSP to approve the hire of Stephanie Dennison as part time custodian with a starting rate of $14.89 and a start date of September 6, 2017.

MSP to set the preliminary levy not to exceed 1% or $14,462,011.

MSP to adjourn at 11:07 a.m.
