A Summary of the Proceedings of the Lyon County Board
9:00 a.m. pursuant to notice the Lyon County Commissioners met with the following members present: Commissioners Anderson, Sanow, Graupmann, Stensrud and Ritter. Also present: Administrator Stomberg and Attorney Maes.
MSP to approve the agenda.
MSP to approve the consent agenda.
MSP to approve the 2016-2017 aerator applications.
MSP to approve and sign the grant agreement for the Emergency
Performance Grant in the amount of $23,789.
MSP to approve the tax forfeited land resolution, offer the properties at the amount listed, classified as nonconservation and the sale will take place at 10:00 a.m. on October 12 in the LEC basement.
MSP to sign the 2016 Joint Powers Agreement with the Minnesota Counties Computer Cooperative.
MSP to approve the Garvin Park 2016 deer hunting archery season from September 17-December 31.
MSP to approve the Leachate Discharge Permit with the City of
Marshall effective until July 31, 2021.
MSP to approve the agreement with Redwood-Renville Regional Solid Waste Authority.
MSP to approve the Environmental Assistance Grant Agreement through June 30, 2019.
MSP to award SAP 42-610-038 to M&K Bridge Construction with the low bid of $582,470.
MSP to allow Highway Superintendent Dean Berg to take the County Highway truck home on a regular basis.
MSP to approve the Dental Insurance, option 1 from Sun Life/Assurant for 2017.
MSP to approve the Voluntary Vision Insurance from Avesis and Short Term Disability from Dearborn National for 2017.
MSP to approve the Long Term Disability option from Sun Life/Assurant for 2017.
MSP to approve the 2017 Health Insurance rates as presented.
MSP to approve the hire of Matt Boettger from Part-Time to Full-Time Deputy Sheriff with a starting rate of $21.09 and a start date of
September 7, 2016.
MSP to approve the hire of Scott Wilson as Deputy Sheriff with a starting rate of $24.00 per hour and a start date of on or around September 26, 2016.
MSP to adjourn at 12:40 p.m.
