A Summary of the Proceedings of the Lyon County Board
9:00 a.m. pursuant to notice the Lyon County Commissioners met with the following members present: Commissioners Anderson, Sanow, Graupmann, Stensrud and Ritter. Also present: Administrator Stomberg and Attorney Maes.
MSP to approve the agenda with the following additions: Correctional Officer Hire and Minnesota GreenCorps host Site Agreement.
MSP to approve the consent agenda.
MSP to approve the date correction of the Reduced Rate Collection event as August 24, 2016 from 4-7 p.m.
MSP to approve the MN GreenCorps Host Site Agreement.
MSP to authorize Roger Schroeder to sign the MN GreenCorps Host Site agreement.
MSP to adopt a resolution to enter into an agreement with the Department of Veterans Affairs for a $10,000 Operational Enhancement Grant for 2017.
MSP to approve the quote for pipe materials from HD Supply for a total of $6,912.52 and the wellhead quote from LandTec for a total of $4,150.76.
MSP to approve final payment for Camden Recreational Trail Phase 1 to R&G Construction for a total of $350.
MSP to approve the hire of Brock Schultz as Correctional Officer with a starting rate of $15.86 and a start date of on or around September 1, 2016.
MSP to enter into closed session to discuss the Hockey Arena and 8th St. parcel at 10:03 a.m.
MSP to enter into the purchase agreement with the MAHA for $300,000 and to purchase the radiant heat system from Sleepy Eye Hockey
Association.
MSP to accept the offer of $21,500 for the 8th St. parcel and have the capital committee return with a plan to develop the lot.
MSP to accept the LELS Dispatch/Jail contract.
MSP to adjourn at 10:40 a.m.
