A Summary of the Proceedings of the Lyon County Board
9:00 a.m. pursuant to notice the Lyon County Commissioners met with the following members present: Commissioners Anderson, Sanow, Graupmann, Stensrud and Ritter. Also present: Administrator Stomberg and Attorney Maes.
MSP to approve the agenda with the addition of per diem discussion.
MSP to approve the Consent Agenda.
MSP to accept and sign the Resolution modifying joint powers
agreement to include Tribal Entities to participate in the Southwest
Regional Communications Board.
MSP to approve the resolution between the state of MN and Lyon County for Court E-services and allow Board Chair and Administrator to sign the documents.
MSP to approve A&C Excavation at $1.80 per foot to clean, level and bench JD 15 R&L.
MSP to approve getting quotes to clean Lateral A, CD 37.
MSP to authorize getting quotes to clean 1.2 miles of CD 48.
MSP to approve donations of $350 from Marshall VFW and $100 from Garvin American Legion to put towards the installation of a flag pole at Twin Lakes Park.
MSP to approve the quote from Dusty’s Service & Repair for $.0573 per gallon for hauling leachate from the landfill to the Sioux Falls WWTF.
MSP to approve the quote for Landfill leachate pipe cleaning for $11,465.00 from Superior Jetting.
MSP to sign a resolution to enter into an agreement with MPCA to serve as a Minnesota GreenCorps member host site.
MSP to approve the hire of Michelle DeSmet as Lyon County Recorder at pay grade 16 with a starting rate of $59,500 and a start date of June 6, 2016.
MSP to approve the hire of Adam Koepke as Appraiser with a starting rate of $17.76 and a start date of May 16, 2016.
MSP to approve the hire of Jordan Staab as Correctional Officer with a starting rate of $15.86 and a start date of on or around May 17, 2016.
MSP to approve increasing volunteer Board per diems to $65 effective June 1, 2016.
MSP to grant the request to advance $1,000,000 to SWHHS prior to the first property tax settlement at the end of May.
MSP to approve the resolution 2016-09 in support of the concept that increases in revenues raised for the maintenance and improvements of our state’s transportation infrastructure be constitutionally dedicated to transportation.
MSP to adjourn at 11:13 a.m.
