A Summary of the Proceedings of the Lyon County Board

9:00 a.m. pursuant to notice the Lyon County Commissioners met with the following members present: Commissioners Anderson, Sanow, Graupmann, Stensrud and Ritter. Also present: Administrator Stomberg and Attorney Maes.

MSP to approve the agenda with the additions of Accountant II

resignation and summer help hires.

MSP to approve the Consent Agenda.

MSP to approve the out of state travel request for Michelle DeSmet in the Recorder’s office for the Fidlar 9th Annual Educational Symposium in Davenport, IA, May 23-25.

MSP to accept the Septic Loan Subordination for Cassandra and Nicholas Hoekstra.

MSP to approve the CUP for Brett and Curt Peterson to move in a

mobile home in Shelburne Township with the conditions set by the

Planning Commission.

MSP to approve the final payment to Century Fence for SP 42-070-008, HSIP Epoxy Striping for a total of $2,255.04.

MSP to approve the summer help and engineer intern as presented.

MSP to approve the additional summer help and intern position as

presented.

MSP to approve the resignation of Annette Storm, Accountant II

effective April 29, 2016.

MSP to enter into closed session to discuss the Hockey Facility at 11:22 a.m.

MSP to offer $300,000 for the Hockey Facility at the Fairgrounds.

MSP to adjourn at 12:00 p.m.

A Summary of the Proceedings of the Lyon County Board

9:00 a.m. pursuant to notice the Lyon County Commissioners met with the following members present: Commissioners Anderson, Sanow, Graupmann, Stensrud and Ritter. Also present: Administrator Stomberg and Attorney Maes.

MSP to approve the agenda with the addition of Part Time Deputy

Sheriff Matthew Boettger and Peace Officer Resolution.

MSP to approve the Consent Agenda.

MSP to pass the proclamation declaring National Service Recognition Day as April 5, 2016 in Lyon County.

MSP to approve the 2016 lease with Southwest Health and Human Services as presented.

MSP to approve the 2016 Boat and Water Contract for a total of $2,002.00 and approve County Board Chair and Administrator to sign the contract.

MSP to approve the 2016-2019 Assessor Service Agreements at the presented rate.

MSP to approve the Second Chance Ranch Arena sign at the

Fairgrounds.

MSP to approve to apply for the Environmental Assistance Grant for a Mattress Recycling program.

MSP to approve the low quote from Terra Engineering & Construction for a total of $41,528.00 for the installation of gas wells on Phase 9A at the Landfill.

MSP to approve the low quote from K&K tiling of $1.19/Ft. for a total of $18,314.00 for the cleaning of CD 11.

MSP to approve the purchase of a 2016 Dodge Ram from Lockwood Motors for a total of $16,090.00 to include the trade of a current 2012 Dodge Ram.

MSP to approve the Administrator to solicit prices for the base and

alternate furniture options for the Government Center Construction project.

MSP to approve the hire of Devin Ryan as 2 year, grant funded

Conservation Technician with a starting rate of $19.95/hour and a start date of May 9.

MSP to approve hiring Matthew Boettger as PT Deputy Sheriff with a starting rate of $21.09.

MSP to approve the Peace Officer Resolution for Matthew Boettger.

MSP to approve the Landfill Summer Help position.

MSP to approve the Bereavement policy as presented.

MSP to approve the FMLA policy as presented.

MSP to approve the Dress Guidelines policy as presented.

MSP to approve the Workers Comp policy as presented.

MSP to approve the Credit Card policy as presented.

MSP to adjourn the meeting at 12:15 p.m.
