Sherman graduates from University of Jamestown
Gabriel Sherman graduated from the University of Jamestown at the end of the spring 2026 semester.
Sherman, of Balaton, earned a bachelor of arts and majored in business administration.
Campbell graduates from University of Nebraska-Lincoln
Kaylee Campbell of Tracy graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln University Honors Program this May. Campbell graduated from the College of Business, earning Highest University Honors.
To graduate from the Honors Program, students must maintain at least a 3.5 grade-point average and fulfill specific curricular requirements. Students who choose to also complete a culminating Honors senior project are eligible for High University Honors or Highest University Honors.
Hulzebos honored during Teacher Education Convocation
Kylinn Hulzebos of Canby was among 208 University of Nebraska-Lincoln undergraduate students officially admitted to teacher education programs during the 2025-26 academic year who were recognized at the annual Teacher Education Convocation was April 17 at Carolyn Pope Edwards Hall. Hulzebos is in the elementary education program.
Area students named to president’s list at Southeast Technical College
Southeast Technical College recognized academic excellence by naming 815 students to the president’s list for the spring 2026 semester. To earn this recognition, students must be seeking a degree and have a semester GPA of 3.5 or higher.
