The Marshall Knowledge Bowl program represented the community on the statewide stage as two Marshall teams advanced to the Minnesota State Knowledge Bowl Meet, earning their spots through strong performances during the regular season and regional competition.
The state competition brings together top teams from across Minnesota, making qualification a significant accomplishment. With approximately 1,000 Knowledge Bowl teams competing statewide, advancing to the state meet reflects months of preparation, teamwork, and academic commitment.
At the state tournament, Marshall sent two teams competing in the highly competitive AAA division. The event featured an initial written round, followed by multiple fast’paced oral rounds that tested students’ knowledge across a wide range of subjects, including math, science, literature, history, and current events. Performance in the written round determined placements heading into the oral competition.
Both Marshall teams delivered strong results throughout the tournament, facing challenging questions and top’tier competition from across the state. By the conclusion of the meet, Marshall Orange earned an 8th’place finish, while Marshall Black placed 18th in the AAA division.
