SMSU hosts ‘FRINGE’ art exhibition

SMSU is hosting an art exhibition entitled “FRINGE: Intersection of Fine Art and Craft.” The exhibition is on display in the William Whipple Gallery at SMSU through Sept. 23. The exhibition includes fiber arts and ceramic works by Kristen Brichler, Natalie Novacek, Sophie Seigel, John Sterner, Patricia Hand, Barbara Wedler, and Anne Wedler.

SMSU art professor, Anne Wedler, coordinates the exhibitions in the William Whipple Gallery and can be reached at anne.wedler@SMSU.edu for more information.

The William Whipple Gallery is located in Bellows Academic 291, on the main floor of the McFarland Library at SMSU. Hours for the gallery are the same hours as the library: Monday-Thursday, 7:30 a.m.-11 p.m., Friday 7:30 a.m.-6 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m.-5 p.m., Sundays noon-11 p.m., and closed holidays.
