Bengtson receives Doctor of Physical Therapy degree

Jacob Bengtson from Garvin received his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the Mayo Clinic School of Health Sciences and College of Medicine in Rochester. This 33-month program included coursework and a year of clinical experiences. Upon graduation he received the Outstanding Clinician Award of his class.

Bengtson received his undergraduate degree in exercise science from Southwest Minnesota State University. He is a 2014 Tracy Area High School graduate.

Bock named to CSB dean’s list

Sofia Bock of Marshall has earned the distinction of being named to the dean’s list for the 2020 spring semester at the College of Saint Benedict, St. Joseph. Bock is a first-year social science major at CSB.

To be included in the dean’s list, students must have a semester grade-point average of at least 3.80 and have completed 12 credits for which honor points (A, B, C, etc.) are awarded. Students included on the dean’s list cannot have any “unsatisfactory” or “incomplete” grades for that semester.

Mercer named to dean’s list

Blake Mercer of Canby was named to the dean’s list for the spring 2020 semester at St. Cloud Technical & Community College. Students earn recognition on the president’s list for a grade-point average of 4.0 or the dean’s list for a grade point average of 3.5 to 3.99.
