‘Red State Christians’ author to present Thursday at CRC

Author Angela Denker released a book called: “Red State Christians: Understanding the Voters Who Elected Donald Trump” Aug. 6. She will give a presentation at 6 p.m. Thursday at the Campus Religious Center at Southwest Minnesota State University.

Denker spent a year on the road traveling the country interviewing why individuals (specifically Christians) were drawn to Donald Trump. She will give a 45-minute presentation and then there will be a time of questions and answers.

‘Songs of the Earth and Stars’ concert Nov. 14

The Southwest Minnesota State University Chorale, directed by Dr. Stephen Kingsbury, will perform “Songs of the Earth and Stars” at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 14, at First Lutheran Church, 100 Church St., Marshall.

The concert is free and open to the public.
