Gordon receives scholarship at SDSU

South Dakota State University junior Elisabeth Gordon is receiving the Col. Martin L. and Irene T. Taylor Memorial Scholarship in Engineering this academic year.

Gordon, daughter of Joseph and Jill Gordon of Marshall, Minnesota, is a 2016 Marshall High School graduate. A member of the SDSU Engineers Without Borders, she is majoring in mechanical engineering.

Bossuyt included on DMACC summer semester president’s list

Des Moines Area Community College President Rob Denson recently released the names of students eligible for the summer semester president’s list. To be eligible, a student must have completed a minimum of 6 credits and earned a 4.0 grade-point average for that semester.

Those recognized include: Alyssa Bossuyt, mortuary science, Ghent.
