Melissa Neumann to speak at Holy Redeemer The Holy Redeemer CCW is hosting a free event featuring guest speaker, Melissa Neumann titled Healing Hidden Wounds, on Monday in Carlin Hall. She will share her journey from childhood abuse, trauma and abandonment to discovering joy and identity as a daughter of God. Mass will be at 5:30 p.m. followed by the speaker at 6:45 p.m. A light supper and meeting will follow Mass. All are welcome.

Knights of Columbus steak/burger grillout The Knights of Columbus annual steak/burger grillout will be from 4:30-7 p.m. at Friday, May 15, at the Holy Redeemer fair stand at the Lyon County Fairground. The 10 oz ribeye steak meal comes with coleslaw, baked potato or fries, a finger roll and drink for $22, a 1/3 lb. cheeseburger meal $12 and a 1/3 hamburger meal $11.
