Zielinski to lead Corpus Christi Eucharistic Procession through New Ulm Sunday

NEW ULM – The Most Rev. Chad W. Zielinski, bishop of the Catholic Diocese of New Ulm, will lead a Corpus Christi Eucharistic Procession beginning at 3:30 p.m. Sunday at the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity in New Ulm and concluding at the Church of St. Mary.

The Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ, also known as Corpus Christi, celebrates Jesus Christ’s true presence in the Eucharist. The procession will conclude at the Church of St. Mary, recently designated as the Diocesan Shrine of Our Lady of the Prairie. Eucharistic Adoration and Benediction will begin at 4:30 p.m., followed by a free barbecue at 5 p.m.
