True Light Christian School announces graduates

True Light Christian School announces its eighth grade graduating students. They are: Mauren Brusven, Ayden Jimenez, Ora Knochenmus, Reese Livingston, Otto Meulebroeck, Roman Pflaum, Finn Ruud, Tullian Schubert, Kyla Sprik, Jonathan Sternke and Christian VanLerberghe.

Baccalaureate service is 7 p.m. May 19, at the Grace Life Worship Center.

Knights of Columbus steak/burger grillout

The Knights of Columbus annual steak/burger grillout will be from 4:30-7 p.m. Friday at the Holy Redeemer fair stand at the Lyon County Fairground.

The 10 oz ribeye steak meal comes with coleslaw, baked potato or fries, a finger roll and drink for $22, a 1/3 lb. cheeseburger meal $12 and a 1/3 hamburger meal $11. Both of these meals come with fries or potato and a drink. All are welcome.

Proceeds will benefit the Calvary Catholic Cemetery,helping with tree removal and beautification efforts.
