Life chain Sunday in Marshall

There will be a peaceful pro-life demonstration of silent prayer and humble supplication to God on behalf of unborn babies and their mothers from 2-3 p.m. Sunday at the corner of Main Street and College Drive in Marshall.

Pro-Life posters with prayers and hymns on the back will be provided to hold. All are welcome.

Pet blessing Sunday at Holy Redeemer

In observance of St. Francis of Assisi Feast Day a blessing of pets will be 2 p.m. Sunday in the parking lot of Holy Redeemer Church, Marshall. This is an ecumenical event, sponsored by the Secular Franciscan Order. All are invited to bring their leashed or caged pets and join in the celebration. Hope Harbor hosts Celebration of Hope

For the 19th year, Hope Harbor is hosting Celebration of Hope Friday, Oct.14, at Grace Life Church. The annual event is an evening of dinner, testimony, and fellowship celebrating the work of Hope Harbor. 

Donations will be accepted at this event, and proceeds from the evening allow Hope Harbor to provide services to families regardless of their financial situation.

The event starts at 6 p.m. with a social hour. Complimentary dinner and program will follow at 6:30 p.m. Seats must be reserved; space is limited. Call (507) 537-4525 to RSVP.
