CDA meeting Monday

The Catholic Daughters of the Americas will be having their monthly meeting on Monday in Carlin Hall following the 5:30 p.m. Mass (6:15 p.m.).

Corpus Christi Eucharistic Procession June 19

On Sunday, June 19, the Feast of Corpus Christi, the Diocese of New Ulm invites the Christian faithful to participate in a family-friendly Corpus Christi Eucharistic Procession in New Ulm.

The procession, led by Monsignor Douglas Grams, administrator of the diocese, will begin from the Diocesan Pastoral Center, 1421 6th Street North (overlooking the New Ulm Medical Center). There will be Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament in the Pastoral Center Chapel beginning at 3 p.m.

At 4 p.m., those gathered will process publicly as a group to the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity for prayers and Benediction followed by a barbecue in Washington Park, across from the Cathedral. In case of inclement weather, visit the Diocese of New Ulm website, www.dnu.org.Parking will be available in the parking lot of the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity. Participants may choose to walk to the Diocesan Pastoral Center (one mile), or take a shuttle from the Cathedral, available from 3-3:45 p.m.

Those who will be attending the Eucharistic procession are encouraged to bring to the Diocesan Pastoral Center a non-perishable food item for the area food shelf.
