Faith Briefs for May 21

First Lutheran to have VBS

A summer kids’ event called Rocky Railway VBS will be hosted at First Lutheran Church from Tuesday, June 8 to Friday, June 11 from 8-10:15 a .m. At Rocky Railway, kids discover through life’s ups and downs that Jesus’ power pulls us through. Kids participate in memorable Bible-learning activities, sing catchy songs, play teamwork-building games, engage in fun snack-eating experiences, take part in one-of-a-kind Bible Adventures, and create wonderful crafts they’ll take home. Plus, kids will learn to look for evidence of God all around them through something called God Sightings. Each day concludes with the Rock Wrap-Up that gets everyone involved in living what they’ve learned.

Kids at Rocky Railway VBS will join a mission effort to provide helpful alpacas for families in need in Ecuador, South America.

Rocky Railway is for kids from 4 years (must be 4 by Sept. 1, 2020) to 6th grade (completed). Registration closes on Friday, May 28 (registrations will not be accepted after this date and walk-in registrations will not be accepted). For more information, call 507-532-2429.
