Court Queen of Peace is serving lunch during Lent on Thursdays at Divine Mercy Hall, St. Ann’s Church, Slayton, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. The menu includes sandwich, salads, and assorted desserts. Next week’s sandwich is baked ham.

Catholic Daughters to meet Monday
The Catholic Daughters of the Americas meeting is Monday in Carlin Hall following the 5:30 p.m. Mass. Together attendees will enjoy a light lunch and a business meeting will follow.
Chicken wild rice soup and chili fundraiser is March 15 in Ghent
The St. Eloi Ct. #1081 of the Catholic Order of Foresters is inviting the public to a chicken wild rice soup and chili feed from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Sunday, March 15, in the recently-updated and handicap accessible church basement at St. Eloi in Ghent. A freewill offering will be accepted. Bidding for the silent auction closes at 12:15 p.m. The event is a fundraiser to support students’ education. COF is offering matching funds to this event.
