Faith Briefs for March 27

Holy Redeemer announces changes

The Bishop of New Ulm extended the suspension of all public Masses through Monday, April 13. Holy Redeemer will continue to offer private Masses that will be live-streamed at the times they are usually scheduled:

• Mondays — 5:30 p.m.

• Tuesdays — 7 a.m.

• Wednesdays — 7 a.m.

• Thursdays — 7 a.m.

• Fridays — 7 a.m.

• Saturdays — 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.

• Sundays — 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. and Spanish at 12:30 p.m.

The Holy Week Liturgies that were scheduled will take place and be live-streamed, with the exception of the Easter Vigil, as there is no way to be able to celebrate that Mass in the manner that it needs to be done.

Palms for Palm Sunday — since palms have already been ordered, palms will be available for people to pick up for themselves and others in the gathering space beginning the Friday before Palm Sunday.

Links to these can be found through the Holy Redeemer website, or in YouTube by searching for “Holy Redeemer Marshall,” or linked through the Holy Redeemer Facebook site.

The Adoration Chapel will be closed and Perpetual Adoration will be suspended until further notice, after today.

Holy Redeemer Church will continue to be open for people to pray from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.

Stations of the Cross and scheduled confession times:

Times scheduled for Stations of the Cross and Confessions at Holy Redeemer will continue as they were scheduled, with the expectation that people maintain the “social distancing” that is being requested by government officials.
