COTTONWOOD — Matthew Engesser and Leiah Louwagie announce their engagement. Parents of the couple are Donald Engesser of Slayton, Sandy Radke of Tracy and Patricia and the late Clarence Louwagie of Cottonwood. Louwagie is a 2006 graduate of Lakeview High School in Cottonwood and a 2010 graduate of South Dakota State University in Brookings, S.D., with degrees in Spanish and consumer affairs. She is employed as the account manager at Aerotek in Sioux Falls, S.D. Engesser is a 2005 graduate of Tracy-Milroy-Balaton High School. He served four years in the U.S. Airforce and is employed as superintendent of Beckman Construction in Sioux Falls. The couple plans an Oct. 13, 2018, wedding at St. Clotilde Catholic Church in Green Valley.
