MARSHALL — Victoria Bruns and Parker Freiss announce their engagement. Parents of the couple are Clyde and Joy Bruns of Green Valley, and Charles Freiss and Catherine Schlagel of Marshall. Bruns is a 2011 graduate of Marshall High School and a 2016 graduate of Minnesota West in Granite Falls with a degree in nursing. She is an RN at Mayo Clinic in Rochester and is pursing her BSN through Southwest Minnesota State University in Marshall. Parker is a 2010 graduate from Marshall High School and a 2015 graduate from SMSU with degrees in finance and marketing. He is a financial analyst at IBM in Rochester. The couple plans to wed on Aug. 4, 2018, at St. Stephen Lutheran Church in Marshall.
