MARSHALL — Ashley Wirtz and Joseph Ludemann were married Sept. 16, 2017, at St. Stephen Lutheran Church in Marshall. Parents of the couple are Robert Wirtz of Walnut Grove and Denise Wirtz of Windom, and Robert and Bonnie Ludemann of Battle Creek, Neb. Maid of honor was the bride’s sister, Brittney Wirtz. Best man was Dean Gruhn, friend of the groom. Following the ceremony, a reception and dance took place at KB’s in Ghent. The bride is a 2004 graduate of Windom Area High School and a 2009 graduate of Southwest Minnesota State University. She is employed as a social worker with Southwest Health and Human Services in Marshall. The groom is a 2002 graduate of Sacred Heart Catholic School in Norfolk, Neb., and a 2006 graduate of SMSU. He is employed as a customer service representative with US Bank in Marshall. Following a mini family vacation to Omaha, the couple is at home in Marshall.
