MARSHALL — Hayley Elizabeth Moede and Houston Franklin Matanowski announce their engagement. Parents of the couple are Chris and Mindy Moede of Marshall and Bill and Pam Matanowski of Vadnais Heights. Grandparents of the bride are Roger and Audrey Moede, and the late Glen and Donna Pietila, all of Deer River. Grandparents of the groom are Ralph and the late Veronica Matanowski of Nashwauk and the late Eugene and Lila Arnold of Roseville. Moede is a 2009 graduate of Marshall High School, a 2013 graduate of The College of St. Scholastica, Duluth, and is currently employed as a client technology specialist at Securian Financial in St. Paul. Matanowski is a 2008 graduate of White Bear Lake, a 2012 graduate of University of Minnesota Duluth, and is currently employed as a group experience reporting specialist with Securian Financial in St. Paul. The couple plans an Oct. 14, 2017, wedding in Duluth.
