Wischer, Morrison

MARSHALL – Kayla Wischer and Patrick Morrison aannounce their engagement. Parents of the couple are Gary and Lou Wischer of Marshall and Jay and Laurie Morrison of Denver, Colo. Wischer graduated from Marshall High School in 2008. She received her undergraduate degree from The College of St. Scholastica in Duluth and her master’s in social work from the University of Denver. She is a clinical case manager/therapist at a local mental health center in Littleton, Colo. Morrison graduated from Aurora High School in Aurora, Colo., then joined the U.S. Navy. He served fulltime for five years and is now in the Navy Reserves. He works for Tac Air as a safety and training manager at Centennial airport. The couple plans an Aug. 12, 2016, wedding at Panorama Point in Golden Gate Canyon State Park in Colorado surrounded by their immediate family. A reception for family and friends in the Colorado area will be Aug. 13. A reception for Minnesota family and friends will be Saturday, Sept. 24, at the group camp in Camden State Park.
