WALNUT GROVE – Abby Hoffman and Clay Churchill announce their engagement. Parents of the couple are Steve and Judy Churchill of Revere and David and Lisa Hoffman of Walnut Grove. Hoffman graduated from Westbrook-Walnut Grove High School in 2011 and received her bachelor of science degree in nursing from South Dakota State University in 2015. She is a registered nurse in the pulmonary unit at Sanford USD Medical Center in Sioux Falls, S.D. Churchill graduated from Red Rock Central High School in 2006 and received a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering from South Dakota State University in 2010. He is a research specialist with WinField in Sioux Falls, S.D. The couple plans a July 23, 2016, wedding at Trinity Lutheran Church in Walnut Grove.
