PREP SPORTS ROUNDUP: RRC earns sweep against HBC

LAMBERTON – Red Rock Central earned a 3-0 (25-7, 25-13, 25-13) sweep over Hills-Beaver Creek on Friday night.

Karli Arkell led the Falcons with 14 kills, five blocks and two aces.

Josie Horning added 13 kills and 10 digs in the win while Lily Stavnes recorded 10 digs.

RRC will travel to Westbrook-Walnut Grove on Monday.

Emily Rohrer led MCC with 15 kills while Camdyn Kluis added four. Zoey Iverson led in digs with 12 while Kate Slettum led in set assists with 27.

Abby Wiggins led WWG with seven kills while Addeson Jenniges added four. Isabel Klumper led in digs with 14 while Isabella Rentschler added 12 and Jenniges led in set assists with 11.

Brayden Hahn completed 10 of his 19 pass attempts for 205 yards and three touchdowns while Holt Larson led in rushing with 196 yards on 20 carries and two touchdowns and Levi Olson added 59 yards on the ground on six carries and a score. Aiden Swenson led in receiving with 109 yards on four catches and two touchdowns while Olson added 58 yards on two receptions and a score.

Defensively, Codie Johnson led DB with seven total tackles.

Defensively, Jackson Esping led Minneota with five total tackles.
