Camden announces All-Conference teams for boys, girls basketball, dance

MARSHALL — The Camden Conference recently announced its All-Conference teams for boys and girls basketball and dance team and multiple area athletes made the list.

In boys basketball, in the North Division, Keegan Wicht was the lone representative for Dawson-Boyd. Joining him is Maverick Conn, Evan Hegland and Landon Schirm (Lac qui Parle Valley), Case Mulder, Blake Greenwaldt and Ben Van Eps (Central Minnesota Christian), Riley Ashburn and Tyler Froland (Renville County West), Brady Kienitz (MACCRAY) and Isaac and Alex Call (Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg).

On the Honorable Mention team, Micah Olson and Gauge Liebl made it for DB. Joining them were Hunter Conn and Kaiden Allpress (LQPV), Isaac Rudningen (KMS), Caleb VanderBeek (CMCS), Trenton Cavaness (MACCRAY) and Brandan Hoberg and Jaden Kolker (RCW).

Ashburn was named the Division’s MVP while Ted Taatjes of CMCS was named Coach of the Year.

In the South Division, Jacob Hennen, Jacob Citterman and Cale Sorensen made it for Minneota while Tracy-Milroy-Balaton had Tony Nelson, Jake Turner and Christian Wendland and Russell-Tyler-Ruthton had Aiden Wichmann, Hayden Gravely and Darrick Baartman. Nathan Fenske made it for Lakeview while Will Varcoe made it for Canby and Isaac Jimenez made it for Yellow Medicine East.

On the Honorable Mention team, Evan Weber made it for Canby while AJ Josephson made it for Minneota and Dylan Anderson made it for RTR. Noah Swenhaugen made it for TMB while Kyle Chase made it for YME and Colby Marczak and Owen Louwagie made it for Lakeview.

Hennen was named the Division’s MVP while TMB’s Rick Haberman was named the Coach of the Year.

Girls basketball

In girls basketball, in the North Division, Taylor Shelstad, Macie Lund, Camryn Lee and Alex Stitt made it for LQPV while Ella Bourne, Gabby Randt and Sydney Thein (MACCRAY), CoCo Duininck, Molly Mulder and Nyssa Vogel (CMCS), Maret Gjerde (KMS) and Rachel Jakel (RCW) all made it.

On the Honorable Mention team, Rachael Lund was the lone representative for DB while Josie Gjerde (KMS), Cassidie Olson (LQPV), Kaisa Jaenisch (MACCRAY) and Hannah Pharr (RCW) also made it.

Duininck was named the Division’s MVP while LQPV’s Dylan Erickson was named the Coach of the Year.

In the South Division, Abby Hennen, Abby Rost, Natalee Rolbiecki and Jeren Rost all made it for Minneota while Jadyn Lessman, Jordan Munson and Margaret Dolan made it for TMB. Lakeview was led by Kiana Imes and Shelby Gravley while Hannah Jelen (Canby), Haley Muenchow (RTR) and Shelby Mortenson (YME) also made the list.

On the Honorable Mention team, Canby was led by Aidyn Bruns, Kaitlynn Bot made it for Lakeview while Allie Christianson made it for RTR, McKenna Yost made it for Minnesota while Ruby Bones made it for YME.

Hennen was named the Division’s MVP while Minneota’s Chad Johnston was named the Coach of the Year.

Dance

On dance team, in High Kick, Michaela Munsterman, Paige Clausen and Katelynne Ashling made it for LQPV/DB in first place while YME had Brooke Meyer and Ayva Wilkening in second place.

In third place, Lakview’s Gracie Herigon and Kayleigh Albertson made it while Cassidy Skogen and Krystal Eischens made it for Canby/Minneota in fourth place.

In Jazz, Rylee Sawatzky, Paris Rikke and Ayiana Hastad made it for LQPV/DB in first place while Riley Enstad and Lauren Fagen made it for YME in second place. Kayleigh Albertson and Toree Heuberger made it for Lakeview in fourth place while Jacey Jorgenson was the lone representative for TMB in seventh place while Skogen made it for Canby/Minneota in eighth place.
