Big South announces All-Conference teams for boys and girls basketball

MARSHALL — The Big South Conference recently announced its All-Conference teams for boys and girls basketball and multiple Marshall players made the list.

Girls basketball

In the West Division, Jordyn Hilgemann, Emily Meier and Abby Wendorff made it for Marshall. Joining them are Sadie Voss (Jackson County Central), Elizabeth Wagner (Luverne), Olivia Hayenga (Worthington), Sydney Sommers and Haley Garman (Redwood Valley) and Allison Letcher and Delaney Smith (Windom Area).

On the Honorable Mention team was Maci Farmer (JCC), Aubree Hicks (Redwood Valley), Gracie Bucher (Windom Area) and Brooklyn Scheitel-Taylor and Sophie Wietzema (Worthington).

In the East Division, Bryn Miller, Cadee Becker and Madysen Allen (Fairmont), Taylor Sodeman (St. James Area), Kirsten Dennis (New Ulm), Rhyan Holmgren and Morgan Kelly (St. Peter) and Camryn McQuery, Brittney Draeger and Melady Renteria (Waseca) earned All-Conference honors.

On the Honorable Mention team was Daviney Dreckman (New Ulm), Abby Maloney (St. Peter), Jaelyn Haler (St. James Area) and Arika Howard and Tea Armstrong (Blue Earth Area).

Boys basketball

In the West Division, Bryce Lance and Josh Baker made it for Marshall. Joining them are Conner Redman (Windom Area), Bailey Cowell and Gannon Ahrendt (Luverne), Dawson Kellen (Pipestone Area), Carson Woodford and Connor Josephson (Redwood Valley) and Brock Bruns and Terbuto Ochothow (Worthington).

On the Honorable Mention team was Alex Lang and Drew Lundeen (Redwood Valley), Travis Rogotzke (JCC) and Austin Doorenbos and Dylan Serreyn (Windom Area).

In the East Division, Cameron Anderson and Braden Gudahl (BEA), Zach Jorgensen (Fairmont), Hayden Jones (St. James Area), Charlie Osborne (New Ulm), Bennett Olson and Ethan Grant (St. Peter) and Andrew Morgan, Ryan Dufault and Kyreese Willingham (Waseca) earned All-Conference honors.

On the Honorable Mention team was Austin Thielfodlt, Gavin Storbeck and Sam Keister (BEA) and Zach Hoehn and Matt Seberson (Waseca).
