LUVERNE — The Marshall volleyball team defeated Luverne 3-0 (25-12, 25-10, 25-16) on Thursday.

Emily Meier led the way for Marshall with nine kills while Jordyn Hilgemann added eight and Leah Jones recorded six. Caitlyn Christenson led in digs with 15 while Maysa Gillingham added nine and Hilgemann had seven. Gillingham led in set assists with 34.

Marshall (4-0) will face Pipestone Area on Monday at 7:15 p.m.

Canby 3, TMB 2

CANBY — The Canby volleyball team defeated Tracy-Milroy-Balaton 3-2 (25-23, 28-26, 21-25, 19-25, 15-10) on Thursday.

Gabby Harding led the way for Canby with 21 kills while Maya Wente added 15 and Mackenzie Janiszeski had 11. Kyla Rangaard led in digs with 28 while Gabby Harding added 22, Janiszeski had 14 and Paige Nelson had 11. Rachel Harding led in set assists with 30 while Nelson added 27.

Sheridan Ludeman led the way for TMB with 18 kills while Kylie Hensch added 12 and Jadyn Lessman had 10. Margaret Dolan led in digs with 33 while Kiarra Danielson added 26, Amber Hensch had 16, Maddi Langerock had 12 and Ludeman had 11. Langerock led in set assists with 48.

Canby (5-1) will face DB on Monday at 7:15 p.m. while TMB (6-1) will face Lakeview on Monday at 7:15 p.m.

LQPV 3, DB 0

DAWSON — The Dawson-Boyd volleyball team fell to Lac qui Parle Valley 3-0 (14-25, 13-25, 18-25) on Thursday.

Ayiana Hastad led the way for DB with 10 kills while Karoline Dahl added nine and Kate Dahl recorded six. Tarah Johnson led in digs with 13 while Karoline Dahl added nine and Kyndall Franzky had seven and Franzky led in set assists with 23.

DB (0-7) will face Canby on Monday at 7:15 p.m.

Minneota 3, YME 0

GRANITE FALLS — The Minneota volleyball team defeated Yellow Medicine East 3-0 (25-16, 25-11, 25-10) on Thursday.

Abby Hennen led the way for Minneota with 14 kills while Natalee Rolbiecki added 13 and Abby Frie recorded six. Ireland Stassen led in digs with nine while Rolbiecki added eight and Hennen and McKenzie Tolk each had seven. McKenna Yost led in set assists with 20 while Stassen added 16.

Ruby Bones led the way for YME with eight kills while Alli Steffen added six. Aria Peters led in digs with 10 while Yansi Flores added nine and Steffen had eight. Peters also led in set assists with 19.

YME (3-4) will face RTR on Monday at 7:15 p.m. while Minneota (6-0) will face LQPV on Monday at 7:15 p.m.

RTR 3, Lakeview 0

COTTONWOOD — The Russell-Tyler-Ruthton volleyball team defeated Lakeview 3-0 (25-14, 25-21, 25-21) on Thursday.

Haley Muenchow led the way for RTR with 13 kills while Abby Carr added 11 and Ella Hesse had seven. Maddi Wendland led in digs with 12 while Hesse added 11 and McKinley Schreurs led in set assists with 25 while Kalleigh Carr added nine.

No Lakeview stats were available at press time.

RTR (7-0) will face YME on Monday at 7:15 p.m. while Lakeview (1-2) will face TMB on Monday at 7:15 p.m.
