PREP SPORTS ROUNDUP: Vikings outlast Lakers in overtime

COTTONWOOD — The Minneota boys basketball team defeated Lakeview 65-58 in overtime on Saturday.

Logan Sussner led the way for the Vikings with 16 points while Nolan Boerboom and Riley Buysse each added 13 and Alex Saltzer had 10. Boerboom led in rebounds with five while Buysse led in assists with four.

Aaron Loe led the way for the Lakers with 22 points while Colby Marczak added 12 and Billy Errington had nine. Errington led in rebounds with 13 while Loe led in assists with five.

Minneota will face Adrian/Ellsworth today at 7:15 p.m. while Lakeview will face YME on Thursday at 7:15 p.m.

Avery Bartunek led the way for Dawson-Boyd with 29 points while Amelia Olson added 13 and Alexis Breitenstein had five. Avery Bartunek led in rebounds with seven while Bartunek and Olson led in assists with four each.

Dawson-Boyd will face Wabasso today at 6 p.m.
