PREP ATHLETICS: Red Rock releases All-Conference teams for baseball, softball

MARSHALL – The Red Rock Conference recently announced their All-Conference teams for baseball and softball and multiple area players made the list.

Baseball

Leading the way on the Red Rock All-Conference team for Murray County Central was Nate Everson, Danny Blankenship and Justin Benda while Red Rock Central/Westbrook-Walnut Grove was represented by Trenton Halvorson and Austin and Mason Irlbeck. Joining them are Mountain Lake Area/Comfrey’s Zack Spinks, Abe Stoesz, Brett Willaby and Jon Faber, Adrian’s Brent Hokeness, Ian Stamer and Lance Luettel, Edgerton/Southwest Minnesota Christian’s Tannan Groen, Zach Johnson and Jacob VanDam and Heron Lake-Okabena/Fulda’s Eli Becker and Eli Fest.

MCC’s Spencer Wajer and RRC/WWG’s Calvin Anderson led the way on the Honorable Mention team. Joining them are MLA/C’s Adam Karschnik and Mace Herrig, Adrian’s Trace Kermin, Grant Jansma and Brandon Schnoor, E/SWC’s Kade Fey and Jacob Ockenga and HLO/Fulda’s Andrew and Matt Madsen.

Softball

Leading the way on the Red Rock All-Conference team for MCC was Montana Beckmann, Laney Brown, Amanda Muecke and Lily Schmahl while RRC/WWG’s Haley Simonson, Kaitlyn Rindfleisch and Sophia Bellig also made the list. Joining them are E/SWC’s Sierra Van Dyke, Hannah Nerem, Liz Prins, Jazy Prins and Gabby Buckridge, MLA/C’s Molly Carnell, Taylor Naas, Rylie Tollefson and Margo Stoesz and Adrian’s Autumn Grussing and Kristina Cauwels.

MCC’s Danielle Kuball and Shelby Christensen and RRC/WWG’s Emma Stevenson and Hannah Evans led the way on the Honorable Mention team. Joining them are E/SWC’s Jessa Nibbelink, MLA/C’s Hailey Pidde and Destiny Sybounhuan, Adrian’s Avery Balster and HLO/Fulda’s Emily Madison and Hannah Kazemba.
